Our TP is made from 100% Bamboo pulp and has 300 embossed 3-ply sheets per roll, much longer than the average supermarket TP (which is usually around 120-150 sheets per roll). Unbleached and no Chlorine, 3 ply, fast dissolving, and Septic Tank compatible.

Our TP rolls will last much longer than normal supermarket TP.

Where is our toilet paper made?

We are a wholly Australian owned and operated company, but there is not enough Bamboo growth, harvesting supply or Bamboo pulp mills within Australia to produce quality Bamboo TP and keep the price affordable for our customers at this stage. We are still seeking partnerships with Australian suppliers and it is our goal to eventually manufacture our products in Australia, in fact some of our packaging is proudly made in Australia. As a small business it is our responsibility to help and support local business and encourage Australian manufacturing.

After Months of searching and investigation we identified our chosen manufacturer in Yongchuan,Chongqing, China who not only meet ISO certificate and has FSC registration and meet Oobamboo’s own social responsibility requirements too. Why we wrap our paper?

We are always looking at reducing waste and insist on plastic free packaging. When it comes to hygiene standards and keeping a little bit of a “luxury” feel, we decide to use an individual paper wrap to protect our Bamboo toilet rolls. While storing or proudly displaying your awesome toilet paper our customers don’t need to worry the TP siting collecting dust.

In fact, there are so many ways to reuse our wrapper too, such as wrapping paper or make origami out of it.

Why oobamboo toilet paper are unbleached?

First of all, we Aussies love a bit of a tan and our paper has a nice tanned tone. (Just kidding)

We are not here to play marketing games. Some brands use tricky wording about their products, so you believe what you buying is 100% eco-friendly, or they use terms like “Chlorine free” to avoid obvious bleaching of their paper. When the Oobamboo team went searching for suppliers we saw how other brands bleach their paper or use the words “Chlorine free” while using derivative Chemicals. The chemical agents was added to change the natural colour of bamboo fribres. The air was stinky and the water looked like bubbly chemicals, in fact it smelt like stinky hair dye.
